This is mainly due to the unbearable economic situations in the country and those involved in human trafficking. She should be punished. Focusing on prostitution as a form of human trafficking, it has many reasons why it was introduced. The main reason was for economic purposes. It also has many disadvantages and effects. The majority of people affected by trafficking in Russia are women and children. The high risk of trafficking is caused by the current economic situation in the country, which makes it difficult for women to find work and provide for their family (Susan Freese 61). Human trafficking is caused by many factors, including poverty, corruption in government, economic tensions, and ineffective legal systems (Susan Freese 61). Human trafficking has grown significantly in Russia, mainly due to the economic situation and corruption. In the 1990s, thousands of women and children were trafficked out of Russia and introduced into prostitution. This occurred mainly in Europe, North America, Saudi Arabia and many other countries. A large percentage of the victims are women and children.
