As individuals we do not fully understand the impact culture has on us. The formal definition of culture is “the entire way of life of a group of people” ((Ferris, K., & Stein, J., 2008: pg 77). Society and culture play hand in hand. Our different societies they are formed based on our culture. We tend to gather with others who share the same culture or beliefs that we believe in, however, it is important to understand it even if we do not fully understand how or why we developed our cultural background. , according to the book, “we learn it so slowly and incrementally, we are not aware of the process” (Ferris, K. and Stein, J., 2008: page 77) have a huge role in sociology, and with imagination sociologically we can understand it
