The IGAT consisted of three verbal subtests and three nonverbal subtests. Verbal subtests included Information, Analogies, and Vocabulary. Nonverbal subsets included spatial relationships, mazes, and language comprehension. Verbal tests examine the candidate's comprehension and comprehension skills. The Spatial Relations and Maze tests examine a candidate's broad visual intelligence and ability to analyze abstract visual stimuli. The language comprehension test examines the candidate's ability to find words in a sequence of scrambled letters as quickly as possible. IGAT scores are assigned in three areas: verbal score, nonverbal score, and total score. IGAT scores are represented by standard scores and percentiles. Scores on this test have a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of
