Although both articles may seem inconsistent, both articles relate the impact that the minimum wage has on the level of poverty. Depending on the date, time, location and other data collected, there will be some margin for inconsistencies between articles. On the other hand, one article states that an increase in the minimum wage will decrease employment rates (Campolieti et al, 2014); while another article, (Hoffman, 2014) states that some industries have experienced increased employment levels. This is a possibility that there will be an increase in the level of employment in some sectors for some reasons; individuals are looking for work due to economic challenges, have a lower level of education or training, or even some individuals have been mandated to accept them
