Some say that life would be harder without technology, but technology was only created to make life easier. If we didn't have it, humanity in general would find another way to do certain things. Finding places and getting directions wouldn't be so difficult for people if they used another way, such as natural navigation. The pioneers didn't need any sense of GPS and maps at one point were just pieces of paper that humanity would do just fine without most of the technology. Not all of humanity is overly dependent on technology, many older people grew up without it, so those people know what it's like. Things like hospitals and police would be fine without these things, death in hospitals wouldn't increase just because they don't have certain types of technological things, they still have the medicines they need. In a way it could help the police because it would reduce crime. Technology has helped humanity in many ways, it has made many things easier for us humans. We don't necessarily need to Google most things, it might be easy enough to just go to a library “I disagree, computers make the brain smarter. Also remember that the human brain invented and designed them [computers]. I don't think I could function without them. In fact, when we have a storm like this afternoon, we turn off the modem and read a book, we can't work.” (“Are We Too Dependent On Technology?” www.news24.com). Many believe that humanity is not too dependent on technology, but if technology were eliminated things would become completely so
