Oprah Winfrey changed the lives of so many people. Oprah Winfrey is a charitable person while exerting great influence in the entertainment industry. Oprah Winfrey was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi on January 29, 1954. Her parents were unmarried and separated after her conception. Growing up she was very poor and often had to wear potato sacks to school. Her mother's lack of supervision led to her being sexually abused by her mother's friends or boyfriends.
