Human resources in healthcare are important for improving overall patient health outcomes and healthcare service delivery. The three key contributions in healthcare systems are human resources, physical capital and consumables. In healthcare, human resources include the different types of clinical and non-clinical staff responsible for public and individual health involvement (World Health Organization, 2000).
