“Often a cold shiver ran through me and I wondered if I hadn't indulged in a fantasy.” -- Charles Darwin I'm sure everyone in this room has heard that science proves evolution and that people who believe that God created everything in six days some six thousand years ago have succumbed to a myth. However, when you take real data and study it using scientific methods, you make a significant discovery: science proves creation! Today we will explore some of the most mind-blowing aspects of God's creation that disprove the theory of evolution. We will first study the woodpecker, which will show us that if evolution were true, the woodpecker would become extinct due to the “survival of the fittest” evolutionary rule. Next, we will step into the world of astrophysics and observe how “the heavens declare the glory of God; and the heavens proclaim the work of His hands” (Bible: The New International Version, Psalms 19.1) Finally, we will apply mathematics to creation and see how the Fibonacci sequence and Phi show how we must have been designed by an infinitely wise God. For starters, the woodpecker is an amazing example of how the universe must have been created by God and could not have come about by chance. Speaker and author Dr. Jobe Martin, in his book The Evolution of a Creationist, describes a Darwinian scenario in which a bird is trying to evolve into a woodpecker. Martin illustrates, Quote...Suppose some bird decided that there must be all sorts of little creatures, which would be good for dinner, hiding under the bark of trees.
